Lorraine and Amy are fantastic teachers — after attending for almost 2 years I couldn't recommend them enough. Always fun and light hearted with the best atmosphere. I travel 45 minutes each way and wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

— Matthew EsseryLorraine and her team of expert instructors have been building something special in Saltash. A place where the teaching is world-class, the atmosphere is warm, and every single client feels genuinely supported from the very first class.
Lorraine Underwood has been teaching Pilates, PureStretch, Body Conditioning, Yoga and 1-1 reformer sessions for over ten years. Her approach blends technical precision with genuine warmth — every client leaves feeling stronger, supported, and a little taller.
The studio is based inside Motion Gym in Saltash — calm, welcoming, and purpose-built for the kind of Pilates that actually changes your body. Eight reformers, a ladder barrel and four Wunda chairs give every client access to the full range of apparatus.
Clients come from Saltash, Plymouth and across South East Cornwall — drawn by the quality of instruction, and staying for the community that's grown around it.
Every instructor fully qualified with deep knowledge of reformer technique, safe progressions and injury-aware practice.
Maximum 8 per class. Always. Individual attention is the baseline here — not a premium add-on.
From complete beginners to advanced practitioners — all levels genuinely welcomed and carefully supported.
Strength, flexibility, posture, confidence. The reformer delivers — when guided by the right instructor.
"I've been to around six classes now and always leave feeling like I've had a really effective workout, along with a great stretch. The instructors are consistently helpful, supportive and friendly, which makes every session enjoyable. I'm already noticing the benefits and look forward to each class."
— Stef Alexandra"My wife and I were looking to get some core strength and flexibility back. We came straight back and booked again! Fantastic machines that allow for a controlled workout, but most importantly Lorraine made us really welcome and made sure we had constant attention, as did the rest of the class. All positive and no gym bunny egos."
